Spool Drawings

Still waiting for three and four weeks to have spool drawings drawing manually from your computer generated isometric. We have the methodology to get piping spool drawings, with the actual cut lengths and details that large bore and small bore piping fabrication shops need using the tools you already have.

We are expert in the use of two applications for the preparation of piping spool drawings.  If starting from a 3-D system like PDS, PDMS, PASCE or Rebis, SPOOLGEN can be used to turn intermediate data files from those systems into piping spool drawings.

One can also choose to prepare either piping erection style isometrics or piping spool drawings using I-Sketch, an inexpensive applications that allows the immediate preparation of either drawing type from either the conceptual piping layout or the piping orthographic drawing.  This by far is the most cost effective tool we have used.  The output can easily be converted into 3-D to interface with the mainstream Plant Design applications.  For more information about I-Sketch contact us or try this link www.isketchusa.com or www.spoolgen.net.

Key Benefits

bulletOne to three week schedule reduction at the pipe prefab shop
bulletCAD knowledge (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartSketch) not required
bulletWeld tracking, spool database, line lists, production data and interface to materials, material and labor cost forecasting
